    Hello Mapcore.

I'm currently creating de_office and I have a problem. Since I've made all the details and sourrounding areas the compile takes ages because the Portal Flow stucks somewhere at 70% and I dunno why. Can you help me figure out why this is?

    Download the .vmf here.

    Thanks a lot!

    Too many numportals. Optimize! (func_detail)

it's on the compile window just about the 1....2....3...4 etc that you're waiting on. the unit is 'numportals'

Ah, okay. After the optimization with func_detail I got 666 portalclusters and 3224 numportals.

7058 numportals before optimization. Just looked at it myself as well :P

Edit: You can cut down your portals a LOT more since you currently have a hollow skybox surrounding your map. The whole space below your map can be closed off. It's worth the time since it's saving you a ton of compile time.

If you clean your leaves very well, you can compile vvis in less a minute. It can takes time but it's always good for you map.
