"Deus Ex: Revision is a community-made overhaul of the 2000 classic. It features new environments, new music, and new world-building detail. It also bundles in some of the best modifications that the fanbase has made over the years, including Direct3D 9 rendering, high-resolution textures, high-detail 3D models, and alternative gameplay modes."

One of my favourit games ever just got a overhaul, go get it! I remember I made a few textures for this years ago, glad to see it out.

If this is not your thing... Well, here's some good music to show you what you're missing:

and btw, unlike most mods, this is officially authorized by Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal. Which is a pretty interesting fact.

You know at first I was like, yeah that actually looks pretty good for being such an old game and engine, then I looked up the liberty island level on a youtube longplay and realised how much work they've put into it. It's actually nothing else but amazing! :D

I downloaded the file from the other link they had, but it always redirects me to the fact I don't have the steam version when I want to play it after install :)

thanks :) However It's the same file so it won't work. I'm sure I'll end up finding a way around, I'll share if needed :)

I might be wrong, but last time I checked, it seems this mod only supports the steam version of the game. (Although I believe I read somewhere they're trying to release a stand-alone version as well? Might be wrong) Anyway, game is what, 5 bucks? Buy it again.

will do it anyway but I like the fact that I need the CD to run the game with the non steam version, as a bit of nostalgia :) it feels great to have it still working and everything !
