How to get models out of maps

    Hey :D I am relatively new to the mapping scene, so please excuse me if this question is stupid, I couldn't find any information on it here or otherwise.

    Is there any way that I can export models, such as some of the models out of de_resort or de_agency, out of the map to be used in my projects? It would be really cool if I could, but when I decompiled a map previously, the models were not included.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    In my experience this is normally met with a grumble and a reason why not. I can understand though if they spent all that time on the assets

    Then you accept that answer, they are literally their assets. They don't have to give them to you or let you use them.
