Looking for Map Developers to add me on steam so we can talk about some possible work. Please have prior experience and past projects I could examine.

    Steam link.

    Thanks in advance!

I would recommend you post prior experiences too, I can't tell much from just the steam link ;)

Looking for some info of the project and your experience too. "Map Developers" are people too and want to know if there's point to waste time and thought into providing you info while not receiving anything back.

    Sure!

My name is Alvarez and I am the Director/Co-Owner of RGN Community. We have recently changed our name from Titan Clan to RGN Community after being approached by RGN TV. RGN TV hosts NA and EU CS:GO Tournaments attracting thousands of viewers from around the world. The opportunities available to us thanks to the name change can open many doors, one of which contains the ability to pay for quality maps to be made for our community (For more information on the name change click here).

As for our servers, currently we own seven CS:GO and three CS:S servers. Three of the seven CS:GO servers are located in EU. Of these, our most populated servers include Bhop, Minigames and Jailbreak. Our in house plugin developer is also the Director of the EU servers and does a great job to make sure our servers have exclusive content such as our custom Bhop timer. A list of all our servers can be found here.

Currently, we are looking for multiple Map Developers for freelance work in order to test the work ethics and performance of everyone that is interested. The long term goal is to find a Map Developer that can join the community and establish a Map Developer position in the community while still getting monetary compensation for their work. If a strong relationship can be built there is a high possibility for exposure on other projects we can provide through our RGN streams mentioned earlier. A time slot for a commercial in which a professional video can be played displaying a workshop item can be the publicity needed to turn your passion into an occupation.

Unfortunately, I will be on vacation for the next week and will not return until July 4th. In the mean time feel free to add me on Steam and continue to post on this thread. I will make it a priority to get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thank in advance,

    Alvarez

You're scheduled to host a show match for the ongoing MapCore/Reddit mapping contest. Until then, a lot of people will be busy with their entries, unless any of the operation mappers might be interested.

But basically what I'm understanding here is that you will offer money for non-standard maps to be made exclusively for you, and airtime for us to feature an advert of our own map if things go well?

Do you mean community exclusive maps? Like when back in the day there league exclusive maps like tuscan & strike for example? People had to end up making different versions of the maps for different leagues. If that is the case then I don't think having exclusive maps for leagues / communities is a good idea at all, but maybe I misunderstood something

What I am looking for are maps made for my servers. For example, if you are commissioned to make a jailbreak map, then I expect you to make the best map to your ability, while adding an image on the map saying "Made for RGN Community". In no way do I need competitive maps made.
