Wont really effect us that much, however if Elevation Partners gets us it will mean less pressure and more time to do the games which = mega pwn

but if its bought by other guys then it will most likely be the same as it has been up to now, which is semi okay i guess

I really didn't think SCi played with the big boys. You learn something every day.

And one of your new bosses would be Bono from U2.

I hope this thing will work out well for you guys at IO.

Yeah its really strange with SCi, they're basically the same size as Eidos, and it seems like a really strange move for them to go into this whole thing. The only real difference between Eidos and SCi (as in size) is that Eidos focus on a few big selling titles where as SCi focus on alot of medium selling titles. Therefore I still find it rather strange that that SCi has the money for such a thing, even though Eidos has had a hard time the last year.

    Hmmmm

I have to agree with frie on this one, Bono recently refused to be the boss at the IMF, clearly showing that he had other plans in mind!!!

Why exactly is it bad? I mean I could understand if it was EA but what tells you this isn't going to have a positive effect on the company and your work?

Its not really bad, its just with Elevation, Eidos would be taken off the stock exchange shit and that would mean we get more time to do our games and we wouldnt have to worry about getting a game finished before the company reports their fisical year thingy. Taking a company off the stock exchange stuff and making it private would mean a world of difference for us since it would mean we could focus on doing awesome games instead of getting it out at specific time, especially since Elevation Partners isnt into this because they want more money (well they do prolly ;D), rather because they wanna do some stuff that makes a difference.

Anyway, thats what I think, but it wont really be bad with SCi I guess. They're gonna sack the entire Eidos board and replace everything except the people that actually do the games, and then everything will be back to normal.

As Ive always said, I dont see any change in this takeover, it will just be SCi thats gonna be sold in a few years instead of Eidos.

Peh mebbe i should be more optimistic about this D:

    fisical year thingy

You sound so professional, I think you should consider job in... what ever does with fiscal thingies and bills and expenses. If SCi buys Eidos that is

j/k I hope everything will go super for IO after everything goes down, I love all the games that IO can push out of the doory thingie.
