There really was no proper topic about this series, really? Shame on you!
Have you watched it? What do you think of it? I know right, it's fucking awesome. Did the red cgi intro get you as horny as it got me?

I watched it, it was awesome, im waiting for season 2. Ive enjoyed every series Netflix has made so far.
Yeah right, we were too into it to move out of the "watching atm".
It starts quite slow, but it ramps up very nicely, I'm completely hooked and waiting for next one.
I agree with critics with Kingpin, was expecting bit better, but I was also impressed that he can get his hands dirty, thought he only had people doing dirty work.
Don't like the costume much, like Flash I dunno, looks a bit too "retro".
Show animation started sending me chills toward the end of season ![]()
Wasn't there some sort of hint from the Melvin guy that it was a "work in progress"? Hopefully means they will change it for the better, he looks like a red light district batman xD
The fight scenes in this series is really great. The drama is okay, I guess.
I almost feel there was too much fighting… like I said in the other topic, he could have sneaked upon his preys while they always made him jump on people. Would have been nice to mix it up
@Voronstov: yeah there was, last episode… but I thought that was most likely just a joke, since this doesn't happen in other shows. I would welcome it!
Oh no one posted the trailer for Season 2! (Part 1!!)
Can't wait to see him as The Punisher. But still, Dolph is the best:
I loved it, that corridor fight scene in one take really left me speechless... I must have watched it like 4 times, ahah. Looking forward to S2 now, shit will get real.
Looking good, curious to see what the second trailer will cover.
I'm thinking the trailer showed enough that I just want the new season!
Nobody posted part 2:
and sorry but but I find these interesting
Just watched this and Jessica Jones. Like HP I was blown away by that one-take fight scene! I think overall Jessica's show was better and the subtle crossovers were cool. Really uncomfortable to watch at times though, jesus.

Oh what??

haven't watched it yet so dunno what you mean. Saw that there are mentions and crossovers through some comments from Emergency Awesome YT channel, I think to remember him saying that maybe some stuff from Jessica Jones would pop up in DD.
Have too many things atm that I don't even realise how close the release is. Probably I'll end up postponing viewing this a bit. Unsure if to watch JJ as well first, just in case.
I think you should watch JJ first for maximum appreciation, as it also introduces Luke Cage who's getting his own Netflix series later in the year. I have no idea if he'll turn up in DD season two but it's possible. I think they're kind of meant to be watched in chronological order because I think if you were to watch Luke's show without having watched JJ you'd be missing out on a lot of backstory, because he's a major part of several episodes.
Yeah, I've heard rumors that sounds like Cage* will be referenced/make appearance in DD to setup his own show.
Am I the only one finding a bit odd that they are choosing to drop entire seasons for shows like these, then other Netflix exclusives like Better Call Saul is released weekly? Seems like this stuff is getting a lot of traction, you would expect they'd dose it. That being said, Netflix is on a rampage, there's so much exclusive stuff coming out... I haven't even opened Amazon Prime for at least 2 months. I must have forced myself to watch a couple of random movies just to justify that I'm paying it.
*I have no idea what this (super)hero does, never heard before the JJ show.
Haha yeah it's incredible how good Netflix is for original content now. I've only just started beasting House of Cards season four which is a massive improvement on #3 already.
I think that Better Call Saul is a weird exception in that it's not actually a Netflix exclusive, but is licensed to Netflix for the UK market — so it airs as it airs in the US. It's a bit like how Netflix US sometimes gets the exclusive rights to stuff from the BBC and ITV and they market those as 'Netflix Original' over there.
I went into Jessica Jones not having any idea about her character and hadn't even heard of Luke Cage. It's best if you do that IMO because the show isn't actually that much about her power, but more about what was done to her in the past and its ongoing effects (which has a lot of parallels to real-life emotional abuse and sexual assault). The superpowers are kind of a way of making it easier to relate to.
Anyway, the level of quality Netflix is putting into these shows is astonishing. Their TV universe is shaping up just as well as the linked M movie universe. It makes DC look really bad lol.
My body can't handle this. From what I've read, it's coming out in 2 days? 18th March.

Well DC is just starting. And is very late to the party, but honestly looks to be shaping up much better than what Marvel (or companies licensing their IPs) has given us till now, which has been an hit and miss. Like all Thor movies have been shit, Wolverine movies as well. 2/3 Iron Man were barely decent (or shit depending on the audience).
DC has taken it's time but it looks like is gonna be cohesive from the start. I'm not entirely sure about stuff like Aquaman that is always made fun of, but for the rest looks really good. Better than Marvel in the sense that their stuff looks more mature, while Marvel's still caters to 12sters.
I'm sure that Netflix or Amazon would open their arms wide open to get DC stuff "on air". It's a shame that "smaller" characters have been given out to the likes of The CW, Arrow is alright, I watch it because there are interesting bits, but is more like I watch it imagine the potential. Afterall is supposed to be a Batman with bow, how could it get better than that?
