Does this make up test mean that Michael Biehn will actually be coming back for his iconic role (he's not on this pic of course)? Fingers crossed!

i am sure they will have no trouble signing michael biehn on

its not like he is crazy in demand and as far as i know he was crazy dissapointed that he was not part of the alien 3 script.

    I just have one question...

Why does everyone hate on Prometheus so much?

Various points taken, but this guy picks holes in every story. You reckon he won't have any of this to say about Alien/s?

A lot of modern films, people do stupid shit like open a door for an old shipmate with his legs over his head, or take a shower naked in a creepy house with a violent history when 3 of their friends have already been axed to death and no one has thought to call the police?

First time I watched Prometheus found it alright, but disappointing. Watching it again, after watching Alien, uncovers so much wrong.

I personally loved Prometheus. It brings fantastic questions and has probably one of the most awesome "does AI actually think" characters.

Only thing im not a big fan of is the two scientists playing with the snake thing.... that was cheesy. Other than that, its beautifully designed and well shot.

At my first view I appreciated Prometheus for the religious aspect they did put in (which in contrast made a religious friend of mine hate it). But then I started thinking about all the rest and it's just a disappointment.

Plus, if it's a prequel, why they have all those fancy technologies they don't have later on? Blah

While I agree it's annoying, it's also pretty normal.

I know everyone will cry about it but look at Star Wars Ep1-3, I would say on the whole the technology was more advanced than the original trilogy, but especially for films which were made a long time ago, their Sci-Fi creations were more conservative than today.

It's pretty tricky because if you are looking at a movie made 3 years ago we can't stop laughing at their technologies. Innovation increase so much these days...

Like Chet mentioned in the VR talk, movies just go for something that looks good on screen, not at the practical implications. Sci-fi is stale atm, imo.

Alien Isolation didn't feel the urge of introducing stuff, and everyone praised it did the retro-fi look. I think they could have done it in Prometheus as well, it would have looked fresher than what they have, which looks like any other movie from 2000 onwards.

I know it's normal, but doesn't make it right, I think it's lazy.

I'm following his Instagram since the news and I'm a bit disappointed… the other day he posted a concept for a space base. Watermark said alien, but description said was an abandoned concept from District 9…
