The trailer really interested me, but I wasn't sure if it deserved the money, with all the back catalog thought to leave it to some steam sale

I bought it to supports a friend and french VG.

Played it 1h so far, the writting would deserve more work IMO. It has a good setting about high school world, some jokes quite fun with the use of new technologies (texting, emails, etc...), but it lacks something : your decisions are almost useless as you can't really change the story, it's either you take the right decision or the game stops. Maybe in next episodes it will be different. One other thing that bother me is the cinematrography, it's not that well designed : every scene looks really slow, not a all the pace of a movie or a tvshow.

I'll try to get in again and finish this first ep, maybe i'll change my mind

Em you are describing the fears I had and that led me to wait for feedbacks. Now I'll definitely wait for a sale before considering it again.

I've paid more for a pint of beer than I paid for this game. Which is insane.

It's only 5€ I know, but considering I have loads of other things on steam, I don't seem why to pay for a game that is certainly not unmissable.

Edit: to pay now. Might pick up the whole season when it's released and at a better comprehensive price

Here's the reason for the massive success of the Steam sales. It's only 5 euro, I lose more than that running for the bus. Who cares if I'll play it

Oh men started a thread on this and used the search. Didn't turned out anything (totally delete the one I wrongly started if any admin sees this).

BUT I quite enjoyed it. Haven't played any of the tell tale games (I'm probably missing out), but this definitely grabbed my attention. It's just nice you know to play a "chill-ish" game.

Yeah you're right. Damn I'm feeling like I've been totally missing on this genre.

Wolf Among Us is amazing, I played only the first free chapter, but I was really impressed. Got the full season on Steam Sale, just waiting to buy a gamepad to play that and other action games.

Has anybody picked this up since then?

I've started playing the day before yesterday or so to get into the story for EP5 on Oct 20th.

I managed to break the game twice, but other than that I cannot really point a negative point from my playing experience. If you're feeling 'this game is meh' after the first episode, please give this a chance and check out the second at least, as the pace is getting faster. Just think of cliché plotting out differently than you thought it will. Or one of those book series where you stumbled with the first book and got hooked afterwards. And choices actually do matter throughout the episodes, although you are clearly following a relatively linear storyline. Warm recommendation!

Just finished playing through all of the episodes over this past week. Really enjoyed this game! It's nice to play this game and just relax. I'm so used to playing stressful competitive style games, this is a nice change of pace. I was constantly thinking about how the game would end/wrap up over and over again. But was rather surprised that only a few of my theories actually came true. For 20 american dollars I can't complain.

Oh and I've been listening to several of the songs from this game for the past week. Really enjoyed the music too!

Actually really excited for that, enjoyed the first one, it's actually the only game of it's type I could enjoy, might of been the setting, was just cool. Oh and she was a photographer, that's probably a part of it :P
