Problem with mouse Razer

I've been a Razer Deathadder fan for years now, I just upgraded to the Chroma version because my old Deathadder had worn down the mousescroll (which is fixable with scotch tape but then i wouldnt have a nice shiny new mouse with millions of colours to choose from for the lighting )

I personally love the Deathadder fits my hand perfect and it takes some beating, i broke the mouse scroll on my first one after a good year of raging with it so i'd call that pretty durable

My Logitech G9 just wouldn't die. I had that thing since 2009, and put it through so many hours of gaming. Even when I replaced it a few weeks ago, it was still working fine and didn't even look that bad — the finish held up really well.

But I wanted a wireless mouse with better OS X compatibility, so I got a Logitech MX Anywhere. This is a very nice mouse.

just checked- got my Logitech MX518 on the 23rd of February 2011. I use it on my work PC now.

Did you adjust the polling rate at all? And when you removed the drivers did you remove everything? Registry entries, etc.

I had a diamondback as a hand me down from my dad, I then used it for {incomputable amount of time}

I've been using a steelseries Sensei. I bought it mainly for the interchangeable colours and the LCD panel on the underside, as I'm a sucker for customisation like that. But it's seriously a solid mouse with a metal top plate (not to be confused with metal finish), braided cable and good ambidextrous design, as I too quite like that layout.

Might have something to do with the size of my hands.

I also use a Logitech MX Revolution of some description at work which is great, but ergonomically I have to pinch it for my fingers to fit in the "ergonomic" spaces...

I think the logitech g500/g600 is the best mouse ever created. Unless Peregrine find out how to make a mouse glove that mimics their keyboard glove, I think it's going to be a while before anyone creates something with more substance. The new Logitech seem to be copying a Razor like approach which seems a little bit too edgy for me, but I'm pretty sure they are of good quality too. If I absolutely had to switch to the edgy ones, I'd probably go for the g402 as it's the closest to the g500.

I specifically go out and buy g400/g400s because I've heard some of the later models aren't as good and also use some type of interpolation.

The cheap electrical parts is definitely a widespread issue. Plenty of people I've worked with have had similar experiences. I realize what I'm saying is anecdotal but considering I've had 3 bad devices and know plenty of other people who have had the same problems I'm willing to accept that as enough of a reason to not buy their products in the future. Them charging me for the RMA for a part that broke after one month and was well within the warranty is icing on the cake.

The one exception is that WoW players I know love the razer mouse with like 20 buttons on the side.
