GDC 2015

Sentura · January 6, 2015 at 2:38 PM

I'm going there with a friend of mine. Anyone else going?

Usually I've seen this thread pop up around November, so I assume nobody's really into it this year. But hey, I figured I'd ask.

skdr · January 8, 2015 at 8:55 AM

Most likely I'll be there this year. Would be nice to meet up!

Furyo · January 8, 2015 at 3:25 PM

I probably won't be there this year. I missed the early bird deadline to register at a discount, so going there in March is going to be a tall order.

FMPONE · January 11, 2015 at 7:18 AM

Unless plans change I'll be there with Volcano. I'd really like to meet Mapcore people, if possible~

cashed · January 13, 2015 at 7:54 PM

No idea if my studio is sending this year. But I had a blast last year; so much to learn and meeting new ppl

Sentura · January 14, 2015 at 10:46 AM

I'm up for meeting with the core, just trying to see if there's anyone else who's coming before making a big fuss about it.

I guess PMs are better if there's only the 3 of us.

skdr · January 16, 2015 at 10:10 AM

I'll be in town from Sunday to Saturday. Let's meet somewhere!

FMPONE · January 16, 2015 at 12:02 PM

I suspect there are more people here who are being too cool for school. SHOW YOURSELVES

Sentura · January 16, 2015 at 12:12 PM

I know a few cool places but most of them are a little bit far away from the conference.. as in, near little italy/broadway.

Anyone got suggestions?

I'll be in town for a few weeks before the conference as well, though I doubt most people are going to do something like that.

I was gonna go this year, but i postponed it for next year instead. I'll be in EU that week.

Have fun peeps, and post pixs!

Izuno · January 16, 2015 at 9:20 PM

Still TBD. Really want to go this year.

Czoolz · January 26, 2015 at 5:16 AM

Oh! Ill be going! Im really excited, I managed to get a ticket for the TrainJam as well. So i'll be doing that again this year. I hope to see some of you there!

Sorry for being SUPER late about this, but if you attended GDC before, you can register on-site for the same price.

Also, I'll be attending as well! This will be my 2nd year attending, as I met a lot of really cool people my first year so I'm super excited and nervous to be there again!

So is this meetup gonna happen? Maybe we can just rendezvous at a party and just snag a table or something? GDC is coming up quick, damn.
