    Hey! I have been hanging around here for a while. Most of the time I have came here to find inspiration for my maps. However today I am looking for feedback on my new map. Any comments would be of great help and appreciated.

    You can download the map here; http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi…s/?id=346540234

    Also here is an overview of the map and a few images;

    It looks pretty open in some places. Especially in that picture with the bombspot.

    Is this going to be all indoor? What's the scenario?

    Most of the map is going to be inside with some parts outside. The picture of the bombsite above, is going to be one of the places where the map is outdoors. There are a few hallways which I was tempted to make more narrow. For the scenario I was think of a modern library or college building.

    I played a few rounds with bots, and I have to say, the middle is faaar to reachable. I was going to A and CTs from mid already shot at me.

    Looks like I will have to find another name, in the mean time I think I will keep it the same.

    I changed the connector from mid to A site. I'm not sure if this was the cause of your concern though.

    I like how the map is shaped, and I think that it would be better to stick with the Library theme because the map seems really good from it. However, I'm not really sure how you could proceed with the name. The only thesaurus results for Library are Atheneum, which isn't really that catchy. Maybe make it relate to the name of the Library? I don't know.

    I was think I could do a designing company instead of the library. Both would be fairly similar, just less books.

    Here are some more images of the map and its progress;

    Looks sweet!

    Some advice though. Have you seen the map de_investment? The map sucks gameplay wise but is probably one of of the prettiest maps I've ever seen. One thing from De_investment that you should implement (imo) in your map is color scheming. The T path to A is really ugly just because of how many bright colors there are. You need to tone it down a little bit, maybe be more minimalist. In De_investment, basically there are 5 different parts of the map (iirc) that all have like one color for everything. I'm not saying you should go that route, but still, think about it. The rest of the map looks really good. I like Mid, and the super open and large A will look great, mostly because I haven't seen a map with such a huge bomb site.

    It's funny you say that, since Sathor (creator of de_investment) is already working with MaanMan on this map.

    Sathor has only let me use his props and textures. It would be great if I had someone to help me with the textures, unfortunately that is not the case.
