Overwatch

One more level, and i got a silver portrait... wow.

I really like playing CTF but every now and then there are these huge pricks, who don't escort the winning flag and just keep taunting the enemy team. This really ruins the game mode. I would love to see a solution to that. Like, for example, when the game goes into overtime just make it limited to a minute to at least stop these pricks extending the game indefinitely...

I'm quitting Overwatch for a while. Too many toxic players or people who have no clue what they are doing. I just keep having bad games in competitive. I main Mercy and I'm constantly getting told to stay back with my res (which I do anyway, gotta get that sweet res off) but nobody will help me when genji/winston/reaper/phara are on my ass all the time and then they complain when I'm dead and can't res.

I tried playing other classes and because everyone can see my play time on Mercy they just want me to play Mercy and start raging if I don't. Can't win!

stop playing competitive with randoms! gaaaaaaah its the same with every game, those toxic players are alone and don't have people to play with for a reason. If you need someone to play with find a discord group or subreddit that caters for that

It's good to take a break, but I still recommend just muting everyone and playing your own thing. Overwatch's community is rather toxic indeed and can cause a lot of headache if you're taking it more seriously than your random-teammates. Blizzard should come up with a way to catch these trolls and suspend them for a while or throw them with rest of their kind. Sucks that players who play well and behave, have nothing they can do to those kind of players. I think it has become worse than how things were before. Game is over a year old and many things related to matchmaking are still almost the same, so it frustrates people. Competitive feels like it's not about that much skill (I've compared my S76 stats to a friend of mine in top500/4300 SR: I'm better in some areas, but maybe 1-3% worse on some, yet we have ~1000 SR difference), but more about getting lucky and grinding your way forward.

Is there any Summergames this year?

I do try to play with friends but there are times when none of them are on. We never have a full team of 6 though, mostly 2-4 of us. I think the thing that annoys me the most is that if you get a toxic player they really ruin the chances of winning. Overwatch isn't really like CSGO where 4 or sometimes even less good players can still carry a team to victory. In Overwatch you need all 6 people on board. If you get 5 awesome players you could maybe clinch a victory if you're lucky.

I have 1 friend who refuses to play comp. The other friend who plays, only plays bastion. I mean , i try telling him nicely to learn other chars but this last time i raged. Now he has not played in two weeks. Whoops.

Some of theese fan made skins are amazing.

We had a leaver in competative, but who cares when you now can play Doomfist in competative. I had such a great game and ended up shredding their team! So much fun!!

I'm particularly proud of this one, everybody involved really kicked ass on this. Really fun theme to work on since we haven't done this style in the game before.
