Have not played many heroes since beta ended and since I play solo I don't wanna let down randoms by being terrible as healer/support Didn't play much soldier in the beta, maybe I'm too casual but I'm having really fun playing him now.

I've been playing this game way too much and I'm not even halfway to level 120. What the hell guys.

In terms of comparison, is it even worth comparing this game to TF2 in anyway? Does it share similar mechanics or is it completely different?

It's quite similar actually, but there is a lot more variety in terms of classes. It straight up rips off the Payload game mode from TF2, and the art style is very reminiscent of TF2 as well (dusty canyons, underground bases carved into rock etc). It's how I imagine TF2 would have looked with PBR! However, I think it pushes past that and is fun in a new way.

I'm really enjoying it

It has a lot of comparisons to Team Fortress games. It contains little of the stuff that made me dislike TF2 specifically.

Started playing this last night, and really enjoying it. One thing that I really appreciate that I don't think I've seen anyone else talk about is that you don't need a console command or anything to show fps, just a menu check under graphics, and that option also shows your computer temp, ping, and a couple other statistics I couldn't decipher but whatever, fps ping and temps all from an option checkbox! That's pretty damn good for a checkbox, imo.

I think there's a keyboard shortcut too like Ctrl+Shift+R or something to toggle that stuff in-game, like if you wanna record without it or such.

This video really helped me learn how to play Zarya competently, enough that I learned I'm just not a fan of the play style. The damage over time beam is just kinda unsatisfying compared to icing dudes or exploding them, imo.

This game's amazing, but mostly when played with friends! With bunch of randoms (more than 3+) it gets roll of dice if you get people with head in their ass or not (mostly yes). Players who play attacking-sniper, but not taking any proper positions or pushing, for example. With friends, it's way more fun and strategical. When you lose, you know the enemy-team outplayed you.

Tracer is probably my favourite hero: "Cheers, love! The cavalry's here!"

Yeah, it's the old problem with pub servers. This becomes a non issue with the competitive mode that's coming soon.
