    Ok, just installed this mouse and it rocks! Some specs:

    I recommend this mouse to pretty much everyone, designers, gamers etc. It's so smooth and precise.

    And I thought that it wont work well with my Ulti-Mat but its just perfect

    Oh and, no, im not here to shamelessly advertise this. I bought it because I've read alot reviews and they all praise it and I thought you guys wanna check this out too

    Definately! It's also boosted up with usb hack for multisensor systems that are running in datafork core so it's very good for pixelware 2.0

    i remember using the original boomslang at ebgames like 3 years ago....it was a ball mouse but still 3x better than any of the other optical mice out there

    speaking strictly from a professional gamer standpoint i think that it doesnt make that big of a difference. the mousepad is 30x more important then the mouse, you can replicate the performance of any mouse with the appropriate settings (mouse accel, sensitivity etc). half life - any optical mouse will do the job (ms 3.0) will do the job....in ut or quake you would benefit most from a faster mouse. ive said it before on other forums and in a more articulate fashion....ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD. a cpl counterstrike player can own with a napkin and ball mouse.....if you buy any nice gaming hardware (input hardware) do it for comfort not for skill.

    btw i typed this whole thing as fast as possible and didnt spell check or anything.....sorry if its full of run on sentences etc etc

    My friend just got one of those. Nice mouse, but the wheel is terrible imo. It's totally smooth and plasticy and as such has zero grip. I found it impossible to consistently turn the wheel which is important for switching weapons etc ingame (not to mention for use whilst browsing)

    This is a shame because the actual tracking of the mouse is smoother than my MX500 and the diamondback is for both lefties and righties.

    I'd still plump for the MX510 because of the wheel issue.
