I think it's superior in every way, they implemented all the mods people were using back in the Q3 days in one nice and neat package. Play QL for a bit then try to go back to Q3, you can't.
I want to play with you guys instead of debating which is better. However, I can and do reguraly go back. For easy MP and better visuals I use QL. But for hardcore play and a ton of content I play vanilla 
The only prob here is the ping.
