I wanted to make a thread here because you guys are just awesome and i just love sharing with you guys. This start 2 Months ago for the First phase of Torn banners contest. It has had taken a lot of improvements but i feel that i now have a pretty solid layout. This is the first time i have used Zbrush to sculpt my textures so any feedback will be awesome (for anything seriously even if i know the crystals look out of place )

    I updated Antrum:

-Detailing (new trim and color grading)

    -added TeamDeathmatch

So far this has been a ton of fun to make, but i don't know how much more i want to work on it because no one really seems to be interested in it.

    Nice! Looking slick!

The lighting looks a bit random though, maybe try to restrict scenes to just 2-3 colors?

That's looking super nice Latteh, you make want to try myself to a Chivalry map one day ^^ ! I agree with FMpone on the lighting, you could have something so much better which could improve your work considerably. My nitpick is that everything is very illuminated and thus lacks atmosphere and contrast. Especially inside the cave where you could make the cave ceiling much more in the shadow.

Also in the castle, you tend to have very powerful lights for what is essencially torches and candles. Maybe you should put many more light sources with a short radius, rather than a few powerful ones. I think it will make something much more atmospheric. Also don't be affraid to let some parts be in the shadows.

Well you see what i mean : http://www.hd-compare.de/barry_lyndon/barry_lyndon_04_bd.png

Oh and you may consider the extensive use of godrays in the cave, that would be really cool !

Lots of cool lighting refs for you i think, it's a cave in vietnam called "Son Doong cave". Like in there you could also have some trees out of the huge ceiling cave hole you have.

I tried todo this with the default UDK light stuff but i think i need to create my own for it.

Redid the lighting Its just a preview build:

I made several prefabs for the light 2 for the lamps (low and high) a background light (lights on the towers) wall torch and stand torch.

    Starting to look really tasty!

Just tell me when you need some playtesting and we can team up, I think I have some friends who could join in too.

If there was anything I would mention, though I think you already thought about this, it would be that all the views around and inside the castle seem to follow the same colorscheme and materials.
