Guys, if you disagree with a company's policy, boycott the product. If you want to make a statement, you can't have your cake and eat it too. Otherwise the signal you are sending is "more DRM plx".

Yup. You know all well and good that company decisions about Uplay, no game on Steam UK, etc. are all decisions above us devs (trust me, we don't like it any more than you do). If you don't agree with them, just don't play/buy. Super disrespectful pirating any of our work, whether we're from Ubi or not. I expect better from fellow devs.

    Two things:

Anyone know how to kill rhinos ethically? One shot type thing.

How do I release animals from cages without endangering myself?

For some reason, and I know this is a game, but these two things really bother me.

I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but I was hoping the elephant gun would be the key to taking out a rhino with a head shot. Doubt it though :/

Cages - I just use my bow, or silenced weapon. One shot to the cage usually opens it up.

What are you guys thinking I have downloaded it? Uh, no?

Anyway they really like Far Cry and wanted to play it, they don't have a problem with the game, just the publisher. Uplay is a load of shite I agree with them on that. I'm sat here waiting for the steam version patiently and wanting to support you guys. But yeah, It's really fun being denied a product I enjoy because Ubisoft don't have a clue.

Don't think he meant you directly

It's just that many gamers justify their pirating with them not liking the platform it was released on.

Co-op is good fun, especially running around hunting together. Disappointed though that only XP, loot and hunting items carry over to both players - tackling one of the fortresses together means it only registers as complete on the host's game, so you have to switch host and do it again to have it complete on both. Similarly not sure why I can't collect propaganda posters and other collectibles with my mate, it only saves the progress of those on the host's game too it seems I think I'll resign to playing this more in SP as a result

Yeah it's not too difficult but it's more fun with two

Saw they released a patch for this today, I hope it fixes the PS4 Touchpad issue, very annoying

In fc3 you'd just need to shoot (with a silenced weapon) from outside the outpost fence.

Scripting was a bit fucked on the final mission:

Grenade launcher'd pagin out of the helicopter he was trying to escape on. didn't register him as being dead until I destroyed the helicopter though. He went flying out the back of it on fire

I'm not anywhere near completing this game. Still loving it!

Earlier I was ironsighting to get ready to take out a rhino to increase my wallet size. But as I did so I realized what I was doing lmao (read the last sentence again and spot the irony). I laughed.

Just recently I was asked whether or not to burn up drug fields or to use the drugs to fund the rebel cause. I think I'm overthinking my decision immensely but it's interesting to think about if you actually were in that position. Idealism vs realism and such.

Fun game but the storyline and mission design is so uninspired and boring. You hardly ever see the villain for maybe 75% of the game?

I agree. the villain is probably my favourite character too. The druggie pair can piss off

Anyone having issues with their FOV setting getting reset all the time? Please Ubicore, get on this! Gotta jump out to the menu and back a lot!

Other than that, 30 hours in and still having fun.

The FOV resets after each outpost capture (after the location discovery cutscene), you have to restart the game to fix that. A lot of people have that issue.

Buzzsaw signature weapon. Dat OP. D:

I really wish there was a difficulty above Hard... rarely challenging anymore.

EDIT: And it's not solely because of the Buzzsaw.
