After talking to a photography profressor, she was showing me a style photographer used. Merging photos together and making it look very real. So I gave it a try my self, though im not to experienced with photoshop, I enjoyed working on this.

I decided to show both color and the grayscale. The artist that my professor showed used the grayscale for all of his picture.

I like it, though the first looks a little to saturated and the second looks a little too grainy.

The transition at the curvey top of the ceiling doesn't look 100% but that's definately looking very nice

Looking very cool, but to the left, where the ground meets the wall one can easily spot either a clonestamp or the smudgetool.

    It looks nice still.

Your Photoshopping could be more refined indeed, especially where the 2 photos meet. But i only noticed that after looking for a minute or so. I really really love the first one, the colors and everything is just right, it's great. Saved that one to my harddisk, i love it, great job. The grayscale however just lacks contrast. I bet that if you'd compare it to 'professional' grayscale photos you will see those do have more contrast. Anyway, i love the first, good job.

My photography teacher showed me examples of photographers who do that with just negatives, no computers whatsoever, it was pretty sweet. One of them was quite similar to yours, a room with sand for the floor. Nice work.
