Also I can't aim the super rich either, because it's heavily based on the DIY trend, like, customize yourself your furniture, build it yourself etc, a really rich guy doesn't give a shit about that, he hires an interior designer, he hires a carpenter, then he pays them because he don't want to waste his time.

So if I could describe my perfect customer, it's probably the random guy, from 28 - 45 years or something like that, who like good quality furnitures, who wants something special in his home, but still doesn't have the money or want to pay a carpenter for that. You see a lot of people like that, instead of going to Ikea they go to some furnitures shop where they know they will find something different and that is not crap in terms of quality, they still buy it in flat packages and all, but it's better in terms of quality.

Another trend is the people who likes to differentiate themselves, I mean Ikea furnitures are nice and all, but everybody got the same furniture now, and some people don't like that, and with my system, they can now say "Hey look, I designed it by myself, I've choose the colors and the dimensions by myself, you won't find this piece of furniture anywhere else". People don't like when they have the same thing than their neighbors, they always want the most unique car, phone or whatever, they want to stand out in a good way, that's dumb I know, but it's how it works, better take advantage of that.

You could cater to cs go players. You know the guys that need a really really strong desk ;)

More seriously, very rich people could buy your stuff. Not directly of course, but they'll hire someone to model their home since they can afford it. Please those professionals and you can expect to sell at premium because those guys won't matter, they're not the one actually paying, and the one paying don't care :)

:P Yeah that's a part of the plan actually, also I will make an offer in the website where you can hire a professional to build it up, I think it's important because some persons are really left handed :D

Mention it on your business plan as well if you're looking for investors :)

From Personnal experience, it's always good to show them you've got everything covered and analyzed.

I was thinking about it Ravage, but maybe that's not in terms of rich/poor you should think but in terms of tenants / landlords. I think that's why ikea and its cheap furniture works so well, there are a lot more people moving from place to place nowadays as tenants, mostly for work, they still need furniture, but they can't move the oak norman wardrobe everywhere if like me you changed place 5 times in 7 years.

So what i did when i was living in england, is buying cheap ikea furniture like chairs and table, got an old couch someone gave me, built some shelves, and when i had to move, i left all the furniture on the street with a "free furniture, take what you need" sign.

So if you invest in an unique 2050 euros table, that's for it to stay, maybe instead of reasoning in terms of rich or poor, you could think of people who stay and people who move. Because there are also not so rich landlords who plan to stay for years, and maybe would be buying an unique furniture if the price is not prohibitive.

Yup good point, that's an argument to take into consideration when I will have to describe my perfect customer :) Also don't forget the fact that you still can dismount the whole furniture so nothing really prevent you for taking it with you.

Me and my girlfriend mutually ended our relationship today. Doesn't make it suck any less. Today has been a pretty crappy day.

10th day of gastroenteritis.. I'm soooo tired (I look like a junnkie), sooo bored and sooo skinny now (loss of 1/10 of my weight). This was the worst week of my life :(

    And it's still not finished.

Get well soon. Just wikipedia:d this and it sounds awful. :/

For me personally, I did quite a major change this friday. After finally coming to terms with that I do not have the health nor energy you would expect to have in your mid-20's, I came to an agreement with my employer to work shorter days starting this monday. I feel that I have been stretched thin the last few years and that it made me into an old grumpy man. Starbreeze has been very accommodating and understanding and I salute them.

Well done dude. Your personal health is much more important than the company and doing all those crazy hours.

What causes your lack of energy? Is it a health condition? I know you had all that trouble a few years ago with your.. heart?

Yes, I had the double heart surgery three years ago and, as the chief cardiologist has tried to explain to me a few times, this comes with a fairly long-lasting cognitive setback and reduced energy. I also take maximum dosage heart meds that slow things down a lot.

Been messing around with ideas for small games, however I would like to get the funding together to get my hands on a more powerful PC and vive dev kit. Having the idea of building a VR game in the style of old sniper flash games, although the design and replayability of Hitman: sniper challenge is a key inspiration at the moment.

Made a logo earlier as I was going through ideas, I quite like it

    [Blocked Image: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cpbn7A0WIAARea1.jpg:large]

Got myself a design doc up with ideas for the control scheme, gameplay and such with a vive setup and currently designing levels and environments on paper.

But for now while I can't get a hands on experience built with VR, I can still build everything else that does not demand VR so things like scripting, levels and such, the VR controls would be what I lose. However if I get that far then I can look to find ways to get funding together and buy everything I need to make it a vr game.

Think I'll make this a side project next to my Fallout 4 mod.
