What's going on with your life?

    I don't want to be Mr. Negative and it really starts to feel like I've become a professional complainer. These are all first world problems, but bare with me and judge for yourself!

    On top of all the shit I've got going on I just really wanted some game time so I could relax. I'd pre-ordered The Witcher 3 CE. All of a sudden this pre-order was missing at the vendor so no CE for me. Since money was tight I didn't care too much. I then pre-ordered a Steam key from a 3rd party vendor. On the day before release they changed it to a GOG key. I had to cancel my order, get my money back (you know the hassle) and then buy it on Steam. Just when I was about to enjoy it I got word that my CE was underway to my old address. I'm still sorting that one out.

    I forgot to upgrade my video card so I could only play it on low. With money being tight and all I turned to the second hand market. I'm not a fan of this. Not for electronics. After days of searching I finally found one. But it was too far away. I never buy stuff for over 30 euros if I can't pick it up myself. So I explained my wariness to the seller. He not only gave me his address but also a copy of his passport. I checked his bank account details at the Police website and everything seemed legit. So I funded him 117 euro. Heard nothing after that. That same day his bank account got flagged and his details went up on a website. He conned about 8 people. Of course we reported him but you can forget the money. His stuff proved to be false so I can't go over and smash his head in.

    Luckily I have the most awesome wife in the world and she bought me a brand new 960 GTX from her vacation money. Which should have come with a Witcher 3 key but they ran out. But who's complaining? I'm running The witcher 3 on Ultra settings now. But my monitor from not a year old acts strange. I used to have it connected through VGA. Now through HDMI. That doesn't work properly. So I had to call support and they are going to pick it up leaving me without a monitor for 2 weeks. With no guarantee that it will be fixed and no money for a new one. Sprony's positive outlook on things is really starting to crumble by now.

    But I've got amazing friends so I can borrow a monitor and still play. All is good and I'm looking forward to a weekend of playing. When I want to go down the stairs yesterday there's a cat on there. I almost stepped on his head. Luckily I avoided him and I didn't have my daughter with me. Unfortunately though I went down one storey. I have several severe bruises, difficulty walking and I broke my fingers (of my good hand). I can't play (typing this with one hand) or properly masturbate. Even wiping my ass is difficult. I had to call in sick for work (can't drive and I can barely operate a computer) and I can't take care of my daughter. I can't even lift her up. By now, I'm not even bitter. I just think it's hilarious. So I sign off leaving life with this:

    Jesus, that is some seriously tough month! Being able to remain positive is a true testament to the strength of your will, haha. An excellent opportunity to get through some TV series I guess.

    Walked out of two A level accountancy exams alive, and then immediately went out and started a new CS:GO map to work on. Found this website too, those are my highlights of my life currently

    Sadly though I had to have my dog put down a week before my exams (which did not help) and I essentially snapped under the stress and pressure which ended up costing me a few friends.

    Still, I push along and continue to do what I love doing, that's all which matters for me now

    Welp just got back from Japan and have a entire suitcase of video games and video game related stuff I bought. I'll do a proper post later when I take pics.

    The big thing is though I asked my partner to marry me and she said yes. WHEW. I'm engaged now.

    I bought a 12$ totoro ring and put it in a gachapon egg because she's a jewlery designer and there's no point in me trying to pick a ring. After she said yes, her and her friend went to pick one out themselves.

    Seriously though, I consider it a compliment. Was worried there for a bit but luckily there was a girl. Good to know I'm on people's mind.

    Even if no one knows what it is, I'm fucking sooo happy to have passed the first round in the contest concours Commun Mines-Ponts!

    Nevermind I'm even more happy to have done the same for another school, which is known worldwide for their creation of VLC media player! Yay!

    So, it's been one month that i'm at Eden Games now (again) and what an awesome month! I just feel like i'm like an other team member, not only an intern. And it's clear through my tasks like things as important as the cars' handling tweaking and their assistances, the polish of the racing cameras per car etc. Barely, everything that concern driving gameplay! I also work on the tutorial, on the first game cinematic, and I'm creating all the cameras of the races' introduction. So it's quite amazing! A completely different experience from the first internship there. People here are still crazy and the project is really really great ;)

    I'm glad you still like it here, I envy your kind of internship ^^

    I've found my 6-month internship myself, from september to frebruary, finally going to do some product design in my work field. The company is called Assystem, at Paris (it's expensiiiiiiiive)

    Oh and ... I'VE FUCKING FINISHED SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, after 5 extremely crazy years of university it's fucking over. You have no idea how much this is a relief! I just have to do my 6months internship and i'll be graduated, so cool!

    i feel eel a bit in a limbo, haven't managed to start anything for the mapping competition yet X( very busy at work, too tired or hot to concentrate after…

    Plus my gf is really depressed for her work situation, she might find herself with nothing this coming week because some people are shits, she's so down that when I got her place she didn't properly hug me and barely spoke with me. So painful.

    Teach her to map for example, something to occupy her. When my father was starting to be depressed because of his unemployment situation, what helped him was to start complementary studies, and he felt like he had a purpose again and now he is better, a lot better.
