I'm just recently officially in a relationship… and I told yesterday my parents.

I was scared in making it official (I mean have "the talk" with her)… because I don't feel inebriated like I did in the past (which were always vain chases) so I feel a bit like I'm not being completely "honest" with her; there are a couple of friends that when I am with them, "I feel something".

So I dunno about how much time you've spent together, and what's your background, but as far as I know, if you are not that experimented with girls, don't tell her that you are in love with her, don't be a dick either, having sentiments is good but having too much sentiments too fast is bad, not really for your couple, but if she decide that you're finally not fitting together, you'll end up with a broken heart and some hard time in front of you. So my advice would be, F*** HER RIGHT IN THE PUSSY BRO !!!

When you really stop and think about it the whole dating game is ridiculous. Both parties are doing their best not to appear too interested, both hide their true feelings and everybody is damaged due to past experiences so nobody wants to break down the walls their hiding behind.

Word of advice Blackdog, you worry too much. If you generally feel love for her there's nothing wrong with saying that. Even if you don't plan to be together forever. It's about the moment and in this moment you love her, so why not enjoy it while it lasts? Why hold back and worry about the future? You can always settle down later and even when you do, after having lots of experiences with other girls, there's no guarantee that the relationship you are in then will hold out indefinitely. Even if she doesn't love you back, it might hurt but it's also a reality check for you. So my advice, it's better to have loved and lost then to not have loved at all!

Preparing my first class I'll teach on Wednesday. Kinda weird to be working on stuff like that, I guess I'm just not used to it. It's a one-off thing for now too. Using The Last of Us (LD masterpiece) to teach these fine young people at Supinfogame about narrative, exposition and tutorials through LD in intro levels.

So i didn't read it all (just a Ravages post) I gotta say I had a loads of shit in my life experience with girls and the best part is that it was mostly negative stuff. Thanks to that, I've develop very hard to get really attatch to someone "problem" - TL:DR i just don't give a fuck !

Do agree Ravage, and I definitely am not experienced enough to decide something like that.

That was my problem (Sprony): she came to me asking if we were in a relationship, and I couldn't/didn't want to give a straight answer right away because (a)I was concerned she had too long term plans (ie: living together and such) (b)she said multiple times she didn't want just a fling because she got hurt too much previously, so she wanted to pull out before getting too involved, if I wanted just that.

In the past I had loads of unrequited loves, and now I don't feel anything like that, and I mean: I'm super-happy to have her around, but as well happy that I have a lot of own time as our schedules are hard to match and I see her for 2-3-4 days at a week distance or more, and I'm not "omg I miss her so much". I have those "i love you" just in particular instances... but as well I feel something for a couple of other girls, so I was like "maybe I wouldn't be completely honest and when this ends she'll look back and think I lied".

That's why I was waiting to "have the talk" with her, one of these girls is an Italian friend that in many instances was behaving like she is interested in me: she proposed to have a brief holiday together, and one idea was to have a car trip and sleep in the car! So I wanted to "test myself", see and talk with this other one and understand where my heart is.
