Why don't you just use google for these generic questions?

after typing "valve hammer glass" this was the first result

pretty much everything about how to work with hammer/source has been etched into the walls of the internet for years now. if you have an issue, trial and error (complemented by searching) is faster than waiting for replies on forums, and you learn more about how things work, which will help with other questions down the line.

https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Main_Page is a godsend! Also, TopHattWaffle and 3kliksphillip on youtube have an array of useful Hammer tutorials on most things (and they're really concise and knowledgeable instructors).

The problem was that that only 1 side of the brush was allowed to have glass texture.

No the problem is your unwillingness to find and follow tutorials.

Tutorial was not clear on that issue, it just said that 4 sides are allowed for texture but nothing about that it doesnt work if glass texture is on both sides.

Seems to be very clear for me.

Also, there's lots of tutorials on basic stuff like this or your new topic, so there's no need to create topics on this forum.
