Thanks and sorry for the mishap.

Just a quick FYI for everyone who's making maps with squeaky doors:
No need to change the speed of the doors for playtests anymore, Valve fixed the issue with the last CS:GO update! You can read about the update here:
-
What does Status 1 And Status 2 mean in the playtest response sheet?
-
Can you upload feedback and demo for today playtest of de_yard?
-
@swst.turn, @GenoCide, the feedback files are on the drive now.

@'RZL I'll post the link to the nav mesh tomorrow afternoon, in case I succeed in finishing an update, which will require a new nav mesh. This time everything seems to be packed properly, I renamed all materials and model directories, and map launched with all textures without issues. I updated the bsp on the drive with the last version, where everything is there (the previous version still lacked some textures), do tell me if there is still an issue.
Thank you in advance, and hopefully I'll see you, without any issues, during the playtest!

when did you download the map? I updated the file on the drive at 21:32 because the previous version had the particular issue you pointed out, which could explain why models are black.

Just now, I used the download link you provided for your submission.
I used VIDE to pack textures, could that be the cause?
edit:I figured why the radar doesn't work, missing textures may be caused by that too. When downloading from the google drive, the file was renamed to something else, because of the name of a previous version. Now, I renamed the whole thing so that when you download it doesn't rename the file, and it should work.
(In addition, leplubodeslapin checked the file itself, and it worked.)

Could I have the next available playtest slot for my map de_butterfly?

Not like this anymore. Please read the first post of this thread.
Apologies! Will use the submission form from now on. Cheers.

Hi! It's been a long time since I had a playtest here and I saw that there's been a lot of improvements to it. I'am just wondering whats new. I saw someone posting a heatmap of the kills made in the playtest, at least thats what I think it was.
I have a playtest tomorrow and I want to make full use of it. So what kind of information can I download after the playtest, and how?
-
Just now the mapcore 10 vs 10 offers a demo file (.dem) and transcript of a the feedback logs.
I believe you can create heatmaps yourself via the .dem file but I've never seen a real need for these. Looks pretty but you should already know the chokes of a map you've created, right?
-
the heatmaps are from a 3rd party website which requires the demo file, your map radar in jpg/png format and the same positional data you provide for it in the radar text file.
-
Tried to squeeze my map in for today. If it's too late just move it to the next playtest. Thanks !
