    Are HLRally planning on making a source version? I was always quite tempted to make a map for that but never really got around to it, and now it seems a bit silly to bother.

    when i played it, i didnt like it that much. but maybe thats because i was lagging like shit :/... i cant find any servers!

    Yeah 2 things for this game.

    You CANT play if you lag, gotta have at most 60-70 ping or the stearing is wacked.

    And its not enough servers yet, but its pretty new so....

    I was on 2 servers with 800 sum in ping it was horrible.

    yeah we are, but it wont be traditional rally this time around. were going for more fun filled combat racing with lots of weapons and destruction.

    Sounds like a good idea to me - there are too many commercial racing games with advanced driving physics and things to realistically compete against with a mod.

    Played it for 10 minutes with a few friends, got boring REALLY fast.

    im not exactly sure what the original idea was for hlrally, but it was clear that the community wanted weapons.

    i guess it took a little convincing from gabe to move ahead with hlrally:source and change the design of the game.
