Abrash is leaving valve for occulus? Carmack and Abrash together, that seems like a major advantage to me.

They also bought a UK company for drones

At the F8 annual event they have vaguely outlined what they expect about consumer VR in 10 years time (from min 13:00):

but I get that Oculus is gonna be supported quite very soon along those special videos.

PS: didn't notice that Day 2 was all about VR, one of the main speakers is Abrash! Haven't seen it yet but here it is

And how they'll price it. From the sound of things then the Vive will be the highest end of them, with the OR and Morpheus being cheaper.

I still doubt I'll be an early adopter, but maybe if they have some convincing games/demos to show at E3 that'll change
