Almost ready for a final shot, need to ad some small props, last light tweaks and bake it in production (now it's still a preview) and after that i need to work on materials, to make a small flythrough in it

I've seen quite a few takes on this piece of concept art, and yours is by far one of the best.

Thank again you guys ! As for a final still shot, this is it, but there is still loads of work for me, to make the materials look better "in motion" and make a small vid in that scene

Sick bro! I would love to see a wire of all the different props and such. I can't believe you modeled all of those books and pages!

Thanks ! But i still see some color correction/contrast that need to be adjusted
As for wires, sure i can post it tomorrow, but optimalization was the least of my problem and there are very few propst, just modyfied to fit the concept

you can do a lot more with the lighting though, some volumetric stuff, dust particles, and maybe some subtle lensflares, it is a sci-fi piece after all

True, it's good to show in your folio that you actually know how to create a scene as it is on the concept. I saw a lot of folios where guy shows concept and the final work is a bit similar, seriously. I know that concept is not always working in game but for a portfolio purposes pick one that will show your "reading" skill, not that "you know better and add some to the scene". In such cases why making concept if you would change whole shit out of it?

this turned out great - there is a very strange feel to some of the materials tho - almost waxy - like you have sub surface scattering enable or something?

Well that looks absolutely amazing dude, you did a splendid piece of work ! It's clear you feel you understand the composition of the concept art, and can adapt it nicely in 3d. Dust particles and subtle volumetric light would be cool, maybe warm up the light from the window so it light a bit more the plant and have some volumetric light rays coming from the venetian curtains, that always makes things cozy . Boost the ceiling lights too, or at least light a bit more the ceiling. Also i don't know if you can do that, but that would be cool to have the gasoline like reflections of the floor like on the concept, i think it add something. But yeah that's just polishing(lol) left, i'm amazed by the quantity and quality of work you did in one month cool stuff bro !!
