Then again I'd say that when Bethesda are having their own E3 press conference (for the first time ever), then you'd expect them to reveal a new Bethesda Game Studios game...hopefully

Man, this E3 will be huge, with any luck, this is what Bethesda might announce this E3:

    Battlecry trailer

Ingame Doom 4 teaser footage (Trailer to follow in august during Quake Con)

    Dishonored (PS4 + Xbox1 rerelease)

Dishonored 2 announcement (Probably a pre rendered trailer, hopefully a second trailer to follow with some gameplay)

    Fallout 4 teaser.

Prey 2 (I know it's canned, but one can dream...)

If half of that list becomes a reality, then I'm a happy puppy.

It's actually not Doom 4. It's just called Doom. You know, to make things more clear in the series......

    So excited.

Seems like the news about the trailer could be legit.

[Update: We received an email from Mirada Studios demanding we pull this story. A representative cited inaccuracies, but also confirmed the story was breaking a non-disclosure agreement. As nobody at Destructoid signed an NDA, we're assuming that confirms somebody else broke NDA. I wonder who might be in trouble.]

Wait, Guillermo Del Toro is (tangentially) related to this? Well, it was good while it lasted.

I'm still waiting on beta access to this. They included it in the Wolfenstein: New Order pre-order and I'm still waiting :<

How can you say that?! D:

FONV has nothing on FO3. The setting and explorable locations were so much better, and far more interesting.

But it definitely needs the progression system of skyrim, where you gain experience with the weapons you use and if you sneak. Maybe they could include stamina and health in that as well... melee characters would naturally have their health increase faster to complement their tanky nature, and characters who run a lot would have increased stamina letting them hold their breath more or swing more with a weapon.

Please let there be coop as well, that would be icing on the cake.

It was way too easy to become overpowered in Fallout3.

NV was much closer to a classic fallout game in my opinion in terms of difficulty. Story is better and has a little more depth too.

but NV looked like total garbage though, and had if possible even shittier animations than f3

Yeah I'd love to see a better progression system. I shouldn't be able to dump points into lockpicking after not picking a single lock.

I'm not sure about coop though. I think the magic of Fallout is that you're pretty much alone in the wasteland and you need to make your own way through your own story. Though I guess it wouldn't be so bad to let someone control a companion you might have with you. Still, I think I'd rather play alone in Fallout.

I'd agree the locations and the feel of Fallout 3 was leaps and bounds ahead of Fallout: New Vegas. I think it looked better too, but I guess that's down to the world being slightly smaller. I think FO:NV kind of had a better story and some improved mechanics. They're both great games in my eyes, can't get enough of the Fallout universe

I enjoyed FO 3 more then NV, mostly because 3 had more and better dungeons.

I enjoyed both a lot. Spent roughly 150 hours combined on them. But they weren't without criticism. There wasn't a lot that really bothered me though. Sure, they couldn't hold a candle next to the originals but still. Only exception being the Brotherhood of Steel. In the original Fallout this was such an mystical organisation that you just wanted to be a part of. The game did give you a glimpse but never showed all it's cards. In Fallout 2 they were present but nothing more. Fallout 3 however completely destroyed the mysteries surrounding the Brotherhood. The appeal was gone. Power Armor was just another armor. No, I would like this new game to stay as far away as possible from the Brotherhood, Super Mutants or the Enclave. Let them come up with new interesting factions like the Gunrunners, Children of Cathedral, Slavers and Thieves Guild and so on.

Same here. I also felt like NV was more like an ambitious mod and FO3 was more polished (and was released earlier, so the graphics weren't as outdated).
