I preferred HP's thread you dictator!

Just watched the trailer. I don't get the big hype around these huge super hero films. I guess it's just not my kind of film!

    Careful now Liam, careful!

Besides, the other one was first. That's how things work. HP should have known better

Looks ok, first one wasn't great though. That being said, I enjoyed Captain America 2 so I'll give this a chance

Yeah I watched it after Guardians of the Galaxy, expecting it to be as good as that, but it just felt really lame and it was so cheesy. Don't think I even finished it.

Wow they're really going to milk all of this into the ground aren't they. Or is that a piss take? I can't tell.

It makes sense though... Who reads comics these days? Only a fraction of the audience from 20 years ago I'm sure. Those stories are just being transported from a dying media to another which connects much better with this generation

The quality of these movies also got a lot better recently. Would be awesome if the same attention would be given to games, super hero games have been lagging behind for a long time now and the gameplay potentialithere is pretty much infinite

Pretty crazy to think that 15 years or so ago a movie like The Avengers would be virtually impossible to make. Now they can pump out shit like that every few months.

It was: ridiculous antagonist, both as a character and costume, twists that you see coming miles away… yeah, great movie in the vfx, but nothing else. All these marvel movies I enjoy more watching as home video, with the peace of mind I haven't spent 7-8£ on them.

You do realise you were watching a live action comic, right?

Yeah, it's basically a live action comic book vibe. That makes it very easy to bash or to ridicule, but you need to keep an open minded about it too. it's a pop-corn movie, it doesn't try to be more than that.

I think they can put some more effort and make something more memorable, it's just writing, not even like spending more money for vfx
