Yes I've had the issue, actually if you continue to wait it should go away. Very annoying/strange

I had this a few weeks ago. Mysteriously started working again 2 days later. Unfortunately it seems all you can do is wait for it to fix itself.

I'm having the same issue. Tried to update yesterday evening for a few hours, but no luck.
Will try again tonight!

Try the latest Steam beta if you haven't already, the change notes said something about improving workshop uploads.

I'd give it a try, but for some reason CSGO isn't updating itself, lol

Hey im trying to publish my map on the workshop and I can not. It says failed to publish. Any idea?

Keep trying; I've had odd 'failed to publish' errors without any notification too; people speculate it's the servers being busy. I kept hitting publish for 2 days, worked eventually.

Sorry for bumping this topic and it's not 100% ontopic either, but since it's related and it doesn't need a new thread, I'll post this here for anyone who doesn't know yet.

If you're having trouble with automatically downloading maps you subscribed to from the workshop, it's probably due to your language settings in Steam. Just set it to English and it should be fixed. Worked for me.
