Some of you know about this already:

    http://shogungamer.com/news/16107/revival

We put out the first announcement of a Sandbox MMORPG we're working on called Revival - with my favorite gaming news site, Shogun Gamer.

There's lots of stuff to be said about this game -> to put it blunt, its insanely ambitious. All's going pretty cool so far!

Since this is mapcore, it makes sense to state a few things:

These pictures are from a prototype that is still WIP - to help me get from A to B quickly, i used textures from GameTextures, definitely did use nDo2 and dDO in places. We used Speed Tree for temporary trees, I outsourced character models, and everything else was built by a skeleton crew internally to help me prototype this.

Anyways, will post more information soon.

news article that came out Wednesday

i just finished a podcast with MMORPG, should be available sometime next week. I'm doing a video interview with them next week too. We're still generating a lot of content, and as our team is wrapping up another CryENGINE 3 project now so they'll be coming back to help me steam roll this prototype.

    Hey guys

we finally put up the Revival Website, right now were still developing the page and figuring out bugs/other improvements as more content comes online and gets live (its a 100% live dev environment from our game/social/web angles). I'd love it if any of you could help us test it and let me know if anything is messing up for you.

Hooray for skill based anything vs statistical superiority! My pet hate with any game

Love what I see in those early housing screenshots, very moody and dark atmosphere. The website is great and works in all browsers fine for me, also gives a good overview of the project and the overall style of the game.
