How old is that board? You might need to update the BIOS for it to work with that gfx card.

You need to look up the beep codes for that specific board. Cos it might be a hardware problem, as in either the card is not getting power or the slot is dead and the bios can't properly boot it.

Before you do anything, tripple check the gfx card is properly inserted. Take it off, put it back on, plug the power cables to it and try again. Sometimes the simplest answers are the best solutions.

I bought it in 2012 or 2013 i can't remember. I tried to update the Bios, but I failed :/ I tried from the bios itself but i didn't find how to do (I found an option "Update from the Drive" but it does nothin. Probably something to set up here) and from windows but win 10 doesn't want to launch the .exe of the driver update.

I checked that, it only says it has a problem with the graphic card... Interesting huh.

Yeah I did this several times, but it didn't change anything. ;(

A board from 2012 should be able to work with that card no problem.

To update the bios, you need to download them from your boards website, put them in a USB stick then you go into the BIOS and install them from there. Try that first.

Also, if you have another PC lying around, try the gfx card there to see if it works. There's a remote chance the card came broken from the factory. Just 6 months ago I bought two brand new RAM sticks that were faulty, happens.

Yeah it's ok, i put on my Néo suit, got into the matrice and updated the BIOS a la mano. So now it works.

Thank HP for following this ;)

I gained about 10 levels in IT tonight ahah

Wow, actually i'm surprised it worked. x)

Good job on this @(HP) !

Next time, try to give the reference of your Power Supply or just say if it's 80+ (a norm that every PSU should have but that is not mendatory)

DIY is very hard now I think. Haven't checked teardowns recently but I'm sure from 6 onwards is a big pain.

Have you asked to some Pakistani corner shop? I paid I think 60£ for the job. Unfortunately the light sensor is now covered(?) so screen doesn't go off when you talking on the phone

They ask 100 euro's or more, depending on which shop you go to.
