This game looks so beautiful - that amount of detail is incredible. If they are actually recreating a full detailed NYC I am going to poop myself. I am very sad there is no PC version planned. Although it has a pvp game involved, so the PC gamers would absolutely trounce any consoler 8[

Keep in mind that most of these E3 videos were "rendered" frame by frame on a much larger resolution than the final game, kinda like UDK's tiledshot

Still looks pretty amazing!
-
That's a point. I read that Sony is pushing developers to maintain 1080p and 60 FPS. I hope it happens because 720p doesn't look so hot when you have jaggies, and the sub-720p resolutions that some current-gen games cheat by using look downright awful.
Honestly, I'd rather have some things scaled back if it means compromising 1080p. I know it was probably necessary with the current generation to squeeze satisfactory graphics out of the GPUs, but not any more.
-
Thrik PS4 and Xbox One aren't that impressive hardware wise, I doubt devs will be able to keep 1080p for longer than a couple of years. Multiplatform titles will suffer the most obviously although it might be stretched a bit now that their architecture is similar. (Pretty much how it was this generation, the early titles were 1080p right?)
I'm all for it though, definitely 60FPS! But I'm a bit skeptical cos it's not that big of a leap forward, at least if you compare it to PC's now. It feels like they're just catching up but will be late to the party :s
What do you mean by that last statement? That graphics are decent enough now that we should be able to stall and maintain 60FPS + 1080p?
-
Well I don't know about 60 FPS, I can deal with 30 FPS. But they should be able to maintain 1080p now because the GPUs are more advanced. I know that if you go back some years, the different in FPS between 720p and 1080p was quite significant; however, now you can flick between those resolutions on PCs and there's almost no difference. I assume it's because the GPUs have much more memory.
I think the manufacturers should mandate 1080p. If that means the general level of graphics can't be pushed quite as far as it could otherwise, I'm OK with that. Even on my nowhere-near-as-big-as-HP's 42-inch TV there's a very visible difference in clarity between 720p and 1080p. That matters to me a lot more than some extra shader effects and poly detail.

Sod the XBox One release, no one's even going to have an XBox One. Bring it to PC.

Wasn't this game played live? Did they just add those chat voices after, lmao?
-
im guessing if this was live it was on a PC
-
it was live for sure, but what hardware this might be the question
-
Bloody Hell, this certainly gives BF4's engine a run for it's money!
-
This might be my fav game of E3. Watchdogs and Destiny both looked great but I can see myself and buddies playing the hell out of Division.
-
Division came out of nowhere! Just how they should

it was shown before the gameplay
Ubi mastered games with extreme situations scenario, if you look at this and Watch Dogs - they got very much in common

As for Thrik, those perfect voice-acted communications raised my eyebrows too.
How could it have been live, if it was pre-rendered as HP says... or I didn't understand what he means? I had the clear impression that most of the on-stage demos were recorded.
-
Those screens, that HUD.
Looks really impressive, Ubisoft have been raising the bar lately and so they should.
-
Can't wait to play this with friends
