Respawn Entertainment's - Titanfall


    That's pretty much what I expected it, they're keeping it close to their area of expertise, after all they created CoD, at least they're innovating it in some areas and spicing it up whereas CoD has been the same game since the beginning. It's no secret this is basically a CoD game with a lot of new stuff on top, and that's ok in my book! CoD is a great game, but after 7 iterations of the same game it got old, that's all.

    I'm actually really excited about this, I'm craving for a good shooter!

    Watched the MP-gameplay video Rick linked in some post last page... oh man, that game's definitely like nu-COD (CODMW2 ->). And that's a bad thing. Seriously, the guy keeps firing full auto medium-long that range and getting hits on the enemy? Wow, really nice skill level right there you got Respawn. I kind of hoped they'd do something nice that requires at least some skill and is fun because of it (that you can be better than someone else), but they decided to do easy-money by making CoD-clone with mechs.. well, I don't even have to think about buying this game then.

    it is 100% call of duty, i mean i understand all the points you guys raised like "nice to have another cod" or "it's as good as cod" but what the hell man, we have medal of honor, battlefield, call of duty, crysis, black ops, homefront, etc etc etc. we have enough manshoots built around the same exact formula and the FPS market is turning into the MMO market where everybody is trying to compete with WoW and nobody is doing anything particularly new.


    personally i blame the consumers because when shit like Hawken comes out they get like 4 sales and half of those are the developers moms but jesus christ it's getting pretty tedious.


    where's my new team fortress or counter strike, somebody do something interesting, pls.

    QFT! Shooters used to be the only genre I played and nowadays I can't stand most of them. How dull and retarded a lot of them have become. It's pretty shocking that I rather replay the classics (Quake, Half Life, Kingpin, etc) than most of the new ones.
