Episode 2 was incredibly average in every way

This is whats gonna happen now with TV Writers writing it instead of it coming from the books. Blergh.

Episode 2 was meh and ended with a lot of cliffhangers.

Spoiler John Snow's awakening was expected, but for a second there I thought that all that buildup was for nothing, which would have been interesting, but probably would have pissed off a lot of people :P

Hopefully things will take off soon!

You can definitely tell the difference between this season an the lat in terms of the writing and that they don't have the books to really go off of as much anymore. The brief pike sections are from the book, and Aryas and Brans scenes but that's about it. It all feels even more condescend and cut down and feels like TV writing. Meh.

It's also less dark, has more humor and is friendlier towards women.

I think it's just the beginning and needs to ramp up. Not that I remember the other season starting with a bang. But maybe I binged so much that everything got mushed together.

Couldn't download torrents for ep3 as its blocked where I leave, found out that Sky's Now TV has a 14 day free trial so subscribed just to be able to view a couple episodes then will see

    I couldn't give a fuck less :)

But seriously, a lot less, almost zero nudity, more jokes, hope, etc.

If you're a pleb like me and haven't read the books, I recommend watching these vids after each episode. They explain some of the connections and backstories that are more fleshed out in the books and helps you keep a grasp on everything that is happening. Also speculates a bit on future events

Watched all his videos. Was helpful at refreshing my memory of what happened in the books since I did forget some of it! Thanks!

Who was it again that gave us those awesome GoT reviews about Lord Friendzone and stuff? I'm too lazy to go through 23 pages to find out.

Spoiler You can definitely tell which parts are from The Winds of Winter in these episodes. Good job Bran, you fucking retard. Never liked him and dislike him even more now, dumb fuck. You got Max Von Sydow killed, your Direwolf (which was a bit daft, that was TV writing all over it) the Children of The Forest (more TV writing in the end death bomb stabby stabby tunnel bit) and FUCKING HOOOOOOOOOOODORRRRRR. I realise that he is fated to make these decision but for christ sakes boy! Brantard.

And TV writing or not, you can't deny that shit is actually happening now. Build up has been sacrificed for progression, and I rather like it. Last 2 seasons were like watching paint dry at times.
