    Hey fellas!


    I've ordered some upgrades for the server. When we've made 7 out of 8 maps in a goddamn map pack it feels like we deserve the best! The server will soon run on a higher end CPU and at 128 ticks.

    I thought it was very interesting, I like mid's design a lot, though it's very open and in favor cts, who get there much earlier. The T way to A (I think, the one under the canopy) could use more cover for the Ts. B felt the same way, but if you could get control of the connector from B, you could probably take it. Very different from previous tests, now it's so much better.

    just a IBAN & BIC account number and I can transfer money directly. I'd rather not have to deal with paypal as they can freeze the money at any moments notice.

    Do not post your IBAN and BIC on the internet. Setup google wallet or amazon checkout as alternate means.

    What's so wrong with paypal? You don't have to have any money there, just let it draw money from your Credit Card when needed only.


    As I really want to keep my private economy and the server separate, the Paypal method is unfortunately the only one that will be used for now.

    I would suggest making those textures easier to read before the playtest. I know they're just blockout dev textures, but I imagine it's gonna be really tricky to play on that map and may not indicate how well the map plays as it looks quite confusing! Just a thought.

    as I have mentioned in the WiP thread, I am working on a map called de_core.

    Since I obviously need some gameplay feedback, i would be very thankfull, if it could be tested on thursday.

    Hi Borgking, I've renamed it to de_core_v01 and added it to the server so we can playtest it on thursday 21:00 GMT+1.


    As a suggestion, since you named your map files de_core:

    Give your mapname a suffix like _v02, so people don't get the message that the mapfiles aren't matching and thus not allowing them to join the server running the map. Only when you're 100% sure that you finished the map, and only then, you can give the map the name it deserves without suffixes.

    It really does look confusing - at least in that posted screenshot. I think that when you're ingame it's okay for the test.

    But to improve orientation I redid the radar for the playtest. Hope that helps.

    Since it's just the radar image that's different I didn't do any name changing. So the old bsp should be replaced by the new one. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    esspho, I like the map. It seems like an interesting layout, and I had a little run around in it. I really think you should turn the contrast of those textures way down, and brighten the place up some more before playtesting. It's going to be impossible to see anyone the way it is now.
