I could have a new version of tibet ready for tomorrow or even today if I manage to get everything good to go. Not many changes have been done but would like to test them though.

KOLARI - Up to you really. If you can get it done today - ideally a couple of hours before the test, then we can get it on the server.

So you are about to start, i'd like to join you if possible. Are all those map available on the Workshop? When I download from a server a new map, when it gets at the end it kicks me to the main menu :-/

Game time in a few minutes. I will send out invites.

    Two maps tonight.

    de_icebound

    de_ali

Blackdog - they are not on the workshop as far as I am aware. Icebound is in the thread few pages back. Squads map de_ali is one page back.

Really enjoyed it tbh. Looks really nice too.

de_icebound not too sure. No of entrances and routes exactly mirrors dust, apart from long A which yours doesn't have. So it should be a winning formula, but there was something about the times to points and rotating from A to B for the T's that I didn't like, felt like you were very much trapped once you picked a route. Not sure how that can resolved, but I feel an extra route near mid into B (flanking round to the back of B takes too long) would help.

It was my first playtest on the maps (and also on Mapcore in general).

de_icebound: quite disorienting at first, i like the general layout and how it plays, halfway through the match i had found a loop i was happy with. What i don't like much is that choke points are too tight, especially routes for mid and B. As a CT i didn't like that to go to be I have to turn around, not very intuitive.

de_ali: it's beautiful! I couldn't get the hang of it, i was dying quickly :-/ i dunno if it's just my impression, but it seems there are a bit too many blind spots (corners somebody could be camping, you check them and get killed because enemies come from somewhere down the route.

But routes are quite recognizable since the start, and that is very important.

    Thanks for testing, guys!

Any feedback on gameplay is hugely appreciated

Btw, ali was on the workshop, but I just uploaded it elsewhere to be sure. For future reference, is it ok to upload it to the workshop only?

i've just pakratted cache without having time to check that its working, which is a pretty insane risk to take considering my low success rate doing such things, but hopefully its working and all the materials etc are there. if not, sorry, maybe spend more time ont he other maps. hopefully it wont be an issue -- i believe in myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;p

edit: it appears to be working ok accoridng to a friend ! i'll see you guys later.

I've sent you my new version of de_tibet OrnateBaboon for today's playtesting. The map should now be pretty much finished in terms of gameplay. However any feedback about gameplay and layout is very appreciated.

holiestcows - I would strongly recommend tomorrow. We have previously tested four maps, but there were only a few people left by the end.

I know you mentioned earlier in the thread that you might have something ready, but the other guys sent me their maps this morning. This of course makes it easier to arrange a test since I know for certain we have something to play.
