    Yep, it's a great reminder that if you're not happy with the way corporate assholes try to treat you, make a shitstorm about it. This and the SimCity backlash have made the kings in gaming realise the danger of getting too ballsy I think. Two epic disasters, and not by coincidence both involved infringing on gamers' enjoyment due to DRM.

    I know it wasn't a flame attempt, it's a perfectly legit question. I was 99% for the PS4 after the MS fuck up, and I am still very interested in getting one even just to play some Naughty Dog games. I'd like to stay with MS just out of loyalty I guess. I've always only had an Xbox, never a PS (well, except the PS2 of course!).. And I guess I'm used to the way Xbox works. But I dunno, maybe it's time to branch out and try a PS for once!

    It entirely just depends on if MS can pull it back, but tbh I think I'll end up going PS4 anyway.

    I think most people who own both 360 and PS3 would lean towards saying you should give them a chance, they really do put together great stuff. With consoles getting so cheap and us getting so old it's pretty feasible to get both, but I'd definitely go with PS4 first just for the experience.

    PS3 was way ahead of the 360 in terms of OS and software when it launched, even now the 360 has only just really caught up. It's going to be interesting to see if Sony repeats that.

    I still not trust in Microsoft (be sure I think this decision is good)...the reasons are clear when we know the 'success' of the PS4 but this is so big...well...I'm curious to see what it will happen later after the release.

    Oh and now, could you remove the Kinect please ? I don't care of this sh***

    For me the X360 was the first console too, and i chose it because

    A) DualShock is crap

    B) I compiled a list of games and, at the time, MS had more games that would please me.

    PS3 is something that became relevant just in the last couple of years for me (and i'd even get a used one for the top sp exclusives).

    At this round, I did like a lot PS4 from the unveil, controller seems fixed and the sharing functions and Gaikai integration is cool.

    All things considered though, I could have been still interested in the One: I don't like the 24h ping on a moral perspective and extreme case scenario (Thrik examples in previous pages), but is something I could have lived with, and if they had announced lower prices, it would have been quite a winning hand.

    Also, the controller improved again

    It's nice MS took a step back, I hope they find a better solution for consumers now. I dunno, "DRM opt-in: your get this added value [console is cheaper, cheaper games, lending etc]".

    Anyways, not getting any console until a price cut.

    We all know Microsoft would have done amazing wonderful things had only the mean old Internet not cried foul. Microsoft is always doing amazing wonderful things
