The Witcher 3

    Jezus, I'm over a 100 hours in and decided to look at the walkthrough to see if I can at least finish it this year. I'm not even in bloody act 2. This game is absurdly big. Just finished the main quest on Skellige and I wanted to go through the main quest missions and finish it off but apparently even that is many hours of work.

    Oh sorry, Missed Mapcore for a few days. Well, I can't talk much about it at this moment clearly, but this is entirely new setting for the Witcher series.
    It's huge, around 20hrs of gameplay expansion. If you're a Witcher fan, and liked the Hearts of stone, you will love this ;)

    CDPR said HoS was around 10 hours. Ended up at around 25 with exploring w/o fast travel, and it was amazing. Now they're saying this new expac is 20+ hours, with a whole new region to explore. Both for 25 bucks. I'm in love.

    I started my NG+ playthrough last night with all my HoS goodies. God there are so many things I missed on my first playthrough! Even just running around and exploring Velen is just as exciting as it was the first time through. Ugh, I love this game. I just wish the modding tools included an editor for creating new locations etc., because it will be sad after Blood and Wine knowing that no more new content is coming. I'll have to savor it as much as I can.


    Also, in the upcoming patch - " Adds option in Options/Gameplay to enable enemy level upscaling. If foes are too easy to defeat due to level difference, upscaling will render them a challenge. Change will not affect experience point gain, loot, or quest rewards. Option can be enabled or disabled at any time, even during combat (however, Vitality/Essence of foes is then fully restored)." FINALLY! So many level scaling mods on nexus are broken.

    So I've finally found the time to sit down and give this the attention it deserves. I got given the DVD special edition, so why can I only install this on GoG Galaxy @knj? I want to install it on steam but it won't let me. I don't want more game launch platforms

    No there isn't unfortunately. I even googled it, and all results point to nope. If you buy the DVD you can only use it on GoG which is pretty dumb. If you want steam you need to buy on steam. Ugh.
