Really enjoying this game so far but fuck me, the movement stuff is annoying. Feels like you're controlling a tank; I just wish Geralt was a little easier to control. And the swimming controls are even worse, what a nightmare! But... It looks flippin amazing and I'm really enjoying it. Honestly, it looks at times like some sort of Romantic-era landscape painting. The foliage in particular is blowing me away, it all feels so natural. This kinda game makes me excited about the future of games :)

Yeah it was the editor for Witcher 2, not sure what they're going to call it for TW3.

The size of this game is just crazy. I'm getting completely lost in sidequests, Gwent and exploration. 74 hours in and only level 16. Tons of question markers left everywhere, open quests and contracts and if i can believe the internet then i'm not even at the half point of the main quest. And the best thing is i still don't feel bored or inclined to rush to finish.

The townsfolk in this game must be pretty pissed off that I keep looting them, but also that I also keep accidentally extinguishing all their candles whilst trying to do so

Geralt will not longer interact with candles near chests and other interactive elements.[/list]

The hype about this game is remarkable, I don't know if I can do it to myself to purchase what I assume will be a borderline endless game. The last game like it I played was Skyrim, and admittedly after 30 hours or so I started to get really bored because the stuff I was doing just wasn't that compelling — things eventually started to feel quite formulaic and I was really powerful so I felt little need to progress. Wondering how TW3 compares for someone who kind of loves the idea of RPGs but rarely gets that into them. :D

I'm over 100 hours in now and not a single boring minute. Everytime when i think it could get boring soon the game throws something interesting or cool in my direction. It's a better game then Skyrim in so far that the characters and quests are better fleshed out and feel less formulaic. Also the enemies and loot don't level with you. You have to pick your fights to progress so you get a better feeling of accomplishment throughout the game.

What's most remarkable is that very little of the side content feels like filler. It's the antithesis of how say Ubi tackles open world.

Yeah, about 60 hours in and am still enjoying every quest, each one feels like an actual grounded story, some are funny, some are serious, some are dark.

The game isn't a 100 (doesn't control well enough) but it is probably one of the best RPGs I've played since Morrowind.

40 hours in and finally went to Novigrad, still extremely impressed by it, love the amount of depth that pretty much all of the side quests have, some really impressive story telling to be found there. Also quite liking the combat, happy that I went with the next hardest difficulty~~

Bloody Baron's daughter that turns into a botchling was really quite sad. Brilliant idea for a quest though, very emotional.
