    Yeap, exactly, I agree. But I wouldn't touch the MP of that Uncharted because it would be unplayable.

    SP, sure I can work with 30FPS. (Not 24fps man, i don't know where you're getting that 24FPS thing from)

    But for MP anything bellow 40FPS is borderline UNPLAYABLE for me. It's the reason why GTAV MP sucks, It's the reason why Last of Us MP sucks and the flip sided coin of that it's the reason why CoD MP rules and TF2 rules and L4D rules. because they run at 60+FPS, it's a nice smooth frame rate to frag. Anything bellow is just a shitty experience that I refuse to go through.

    And players might not know about this tech facts as we do, but they FEEL it, and that's why CoD and other games that focus on 60FPS sell shitloads of copies, cos they feel right.


    Also, why does it have to be black or white? Why can't we settle on 720p 60FPS for MP? And 1080p 30FPS for SP? Wouldnt everybody be happy this way?

    The frame rate determines "screen smoothness", but there are other, "hidden", numbers. In multiplayer there is rate at which things are updated over network. If there are physics simulation, the rate at which physics is run. If there is AI, there is another rate related to how fast AI reacts or how often AI checks for changes in the game world. The other rate that I can think of now is the frame rate for body animations. I mean, there are many cases that games run at the same frame rate yet they don't feel exactly the same (I'm excluding motion blur here).

    I would be careful with trying to log onto PSN or something with it. Who knows what crazy shit they will do to people who got it early, because its definitely your fault it arrived early.

    See, that first bit with Killzone is what I want to see more of! Shooters where you can aim precisely using the pad's blue light. Is Battlefield 4 making use of this? IMO this should be a god damn standard for shooters.

    I guess, but I have used the PS3's Move controller which Killzone 3 supported and it felt awesome. Unless the technology has gone backwards (which seems unlikely) it's about as close to the accuracy of a mouse as we're gonna get until the Steam Controller comes along.


    The beauty of it is you can still roughly aim using the stick, but you can fine-tune where exactly you shoot using the pointer. It allows for quick reactions that you can't really achieve with a stick alone.
