and now when i want to pre order this bitch, even SONY's official source are not sure if pre orders after august 8 will get the ps4 on time, i will try to grab some from retailers

Everybody's gone to rapture seems interesting. Briscoe are you there?? Are you involved too?
The wind waker looking game had some nice aesthetics, don't know about if it seems like an interesting game though.
And that game Helldivers looked like a lot of fun, not a system seller though.

Quite impressed by how many indie games are coming out, early on the PS3 I bought loads of little PSN games and most were great, they kind of dried up after a while though and the quality dropped.

Yes, they said back in June at e3 that your account will automatically transition, and in fact you will get 3 months more being added to your already existing account.
And yes, you're gonna be able to use and switch between the PS3 and PS4 at any time, It also works on PS Vita, so you also get loads of free games there.

But in all seriousness, I do like to see the fact that all of these various streaming and social features are finally coming together in such a way that's pretty cool, and more importantly being integrated gracefully into what I spend 90% of my gaming time on: consoles.

Why is DoF gone from the PS4 version? Sounds like more of an incomplete implementation of that techdemo / engine than a PS4 flaw to me. Those who know and understand how game engines work will know it's not a very fair comparison when you put a console next to a PC and the console version is not even 100% implemented/integrated with the tech yet.
PS4/Xbone is more than capable of handling DoF and parallax mapping, among other things that are noticeably missing.
Those comparisons just tell to the general public "look! that same thing is running on different hardware at same speed!". But the code is all hidden nowhere to be seen. There can only be guesses about the differences spotted here and there.
There can only be wild guesses about differences in those side by side comparisons because the source code is never shown.
