despite the bumpy start the ps3 was the winner of this generation !

90% of the next(current)gen games i cant live without are play-station exclusives.

SO YEAH ... BRING IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just dont cheap out on the RAM this time! Have at least as much as MS.usable to make a game with (edit : I say usable because it's rumored that MS's underlying OS is a giant RAM hog).

Yeah Sony has absolutely nailed this generation for me. I've had both a 360 and PS3 for most of it, but I think I must literally have gotten about 100 times the use out of the PS3 — and that's not including using it for music and TV/film, which I also do all the time. I think they've proven that even with a poor start, putting money into product quality and innovative games above all else is the way to go.

The only fall they've had has been the absolutely shit new store they implemented recently, but I hope that'll have a short life and be completely replaced for the PS4. I heard that was more for the Vita than anything, which would make sense as it feels like it was never even tested on a PS3.

I kinda feel the complete opposite... There's only 4-ish exclusive titles that I really wanted for the PS3 and besides that I watch an occasional Bluray movie on it. Other than that it has been gathering dust :/

Those few games still make it worth it though so I'm not regretting my purchase, gonna get both consoles again this cycle!

    Uncharted 1-3

    Valykiria Chronicles

    Ratchet and clank 4-6

    Killzone 2

    LBP 1-2

    Resistance 2

Absolutely, Playstation is and always has been my console of choice. There's only one XBox exclusive I was interested on (Gears of War) and I don't see myself playing it more than once.

Whereas on Playstation, exclusive games are a pure blast and really made a mark in my life. (God of War, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid, Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, the list goes on and on and on, these are games that actually changed my life man.)

But yeah, I'm known for being a Playstation fanboy!

Also, edge article, check it out.

What do you guys think about these rumours that Sony is cooking pads with biometric readers? I guess gaben really nailed that prediction, huh?

I love the fact they will grab a few functionalities of the PSVista and put it on the PS4 Pad, the Vita might be a bad console right now but there's some really awesome game changer functionalities on that console, that back touch pad being one of them.

    • British site CVG speculated last week that, because they'd heard the PS4's controller was "trying to emulate the same user interface philosophies as the PS Vita", that meant it would feature a touch screen. Instead, the Orbis' controller features a capacitive touch pad, like you find on the back of a Vita (presumably it's also on the back of the PS4's controller), that can recognise two-point multi-touch. The entire pad can also be "clicked" for an additional input button.
