December release was undoable, but who the fuck thought the April release was possible?! Lmao
-
All the heads who green lit the release should do themselves a favour and resign. They've seriously damaged CDPR's credibility.

Directly from the mouth of Gaben:
“I have a lot of sympathy with a situation that every game developer finds themselves in,” he said.
“All I know is that there are a lot of very happy gamers in the PC space, which are the ones that are most visible to us.
“There are aspects of the game that are just brilliant, and it shows a tremendous amount of work — it’s unfair to throw stones at any other developer, because just getting something as complex and ambitious as that out the door is pretty amazing.”
“Everybody knows that if you’re in this business, expectations are high, and if you do it well people are going to let you know and if you failed to meet those expectations they’re are going to let you know — that’s part of why it’s a fun industry.”

I'm betting on a turnaround, they will fix the kinks and keep releasing content for years to come!

No Man's Sky-like come back, let's go!
-
The investors are suing the company for being misled.
Aren't this people double dipping, benefitting from (what I imagine was) a surge in stock with the great preorders, and now trying to get other money out of the company with the suit?

There's been reports of the company planing a similar return to glory. It took Hello games years to pull off properly, but they have a very small team.
I'd like CDPR to add transit systems and all kinds of additional depth to night city akin what R* is able to pull off. This game could (at least) be the definitive cyberpunk RPG for years to come. They also had plans for a MP mode that would benefit a lot of this current work.
See you Cyberpunk in 2022. I'll look forward to it.
-
I was surprised when there wasn't a transit system in the game. I thought for sure it was going to be a thing, especially from the trailer and marketing shots. Though, they most likely had to cut it to stay on schedule.

You're assuming they sold the shares at or around the ATH, which if they did they wouldn't have any motivation to sue.

I'd be happy with a working police spawning system... GTA3 had it, I'm sure they could do it too.

Haha, sure. MVP first of course.
Crazy that so many of the fundamentals are missing. Low hanging fruit right there.
-
they can take years for all I care, won't be getting my 3080 before that anyway

Creating a quality bug free game is a community effort.

Jaysus I forgot how bad Moddb's website is.

Now a car runs cyberpunk better than a ps4 pro

I'm curious to see if it's true and not another stunt, I'm not sure if it has been disclosed anywhere, but I assume the car systems are all mobile-chip powered?
Btw new interior design looks very nice, I wish they were restyling the outside substantially cos the S got old pretty quick.
