It's a movie about some dude who goes to some planet, and then he's like, captured by the natives, and he learns that they're the good guys so he betrays his former allies. And we all know the hero will win in this one too, lol.

Also, I can never take bad-guy/badass Morgan Freeman seriously

Really love the style of this, that jet/helicopter thing looks awesome, as do the drones. Morgan Freeman also makes it 10x more awesome. Looking forward to this!

The style, direction, hot chick, morgan freeman and the music makes me wanna see this movie. I'm just hoping all that will overshadow the image of Tom Cruise jumping on a sofa while farting out of his mouth.

Because to me, he cant play a role that Immerses me in a movie. He will always be Tom Cruise.

Saw the trailer couple of hours ago, just went through it again. A friend commented it's "too video game-y"... i'd agree as a general feeling.

I like a lot the world from the design perspective, but as the movie goes i was expecting something less action-oriented from the poster that really intrigued me (guess was) on friday.

Morgan Freeman's character seems somewhat lame, i dunno what precisely but i guess he doesn't sell the badass-y the costume suggest. And with those glasses, he reminded me of the early sketches from HL2 for Captain Vance.

Btw, what the hell are those buildings on the cliffs of the fault line??

I see Tom Cruise isn't very popular. I've always enjoyed his performances, and can't honestly say that his couch shit has had any more an effect on my enjoyment of his films than finding out how much of a dick Russell Crowe can be or Christian Bale's on-set meltdown. What actors are like as people is something I have no real interest in.
