Dishonored! Journey was good but GOTY? well... debatable.

Mass Effect 3 was alsso awesome, but it's more of the same, so it's not goty for me, no way.

Me3 should be disqualified for the ending. Even if you liked it, it polarized players too much.

Anyone think that VGA show is a bit of a joke? They invite these famous people in their fancy dresses, obviously they ask if they're big gamers or not, which they answer with skepticism "oh you know, I used to be...". Wtf are they doing there anyway? They're actors!

And then there's Geoff Keighley

All game award shows are pretty much a joke, no? I can't think of a particularly significant one. There are so many minor ones the awards become a bit meaningless.

Samuel L. Jacksons as a host ... I don't think they could've picked a guy with even less interest in videogames.

The only thing I can take away from this is that I suppose it helps video games being an industry standard, but I cant be bothered to watch that crap after last years. So yes joke, but possibly helpful? I donno.
