So many games out that I want but I dont have the time and I really shouldn't spend the money. Gosh. I mean Alien alone will take me weeks to beat because I can only play for an hour interval or so due to my body not being able to handle the tension. Ill have watch a lets play of this game.

This is so hard and so true. I have a tendency to be weak in that regard. I hear you guys talking about Shadow of Mordor being great and this voice in me goes 'BUY IT NOW YOU NEED IT YOU WANT IT'. Same goes for this one and Far Cry 4 and so on. While I still haven't gotten around to so many other games I've bought. If I just finish other games first I could get these new games for half the price they are now but the voice doesn't care. It must be now. Luckily though, I'm broke as fuck. I just have to get through the Steam Autumn sale and all will be alright until I get money again. Then I need to stay strong. Maybe we should form a support group

What platform is this for? Could it be mentioned in the topic title perhaps?

The link in the first page got me in some japanese site not related to gaming at all.

In case of doubt, wiki is your friend.

I like it for now. Like a perfect mix between RE4, Last Of Us and all with a full layer of horror creepy stuff from games like Silent Hill or Siren.

The game and its mechanics reminds me a lot of Resident Evil 4, when 3rd-Person Resident Evils didn't suck

The Shinji Mikami vibe is present all the time.

I also wonder, how a gore fest like this passed the german content rating instances

I'd never heard of this till I saw an ad on tv the other day, looks pretty sick. Can't help but feel Boxman is a poor man's copy of Pyramid Head though...

Other than the ludicrous low fov, the game is really fucking good. First few hours are questionable, but damn, the game gets good.

Yeah I'm having fun with this too. It's nothing ground-breaking or revolutionary but I'm really enjoying playing it.

I have my gripes with it too but I haven't gotten frustrated yet (like I have with Alien a few hours in for example...) and there are some really cool moments in there!

    I was debating getting this on PS3 so I had a look at the graphics differences;

For the most part obviously the PS4 wins it, but sometimes it manages to look better on PS3 oddly enough!

Yeah, I wouldn't call this a pretty game by any stretch of the imagination. But it is one of the most creative games I've played in a long time. Finished it in around 16 hours, and the whole fucking experience plays and feels like a bad dream, the way the level cuts are done are pretty genius and there's some ideas being thrown into the mix that i've never seen in a game before.

For example, RE fans will appreciate the safe house being back, although this time around, every time you get inside this safehouse, there's something different going on, and it always manages to stay fresh. And many other stuff I just can't mention here without being major spoilers, but trust me, it gets insane later on. RE fans should deffo check it out tho, it's not RE but it has some obvious stuff in there that really brings you back to it, it has a little bit of every RE game from 1 to 4, and even tho I loved it, it only made me desire another true good RE game.

Like I said tho, the art of the game is average at best, although the game gets really amazing looking like half way through, only to drop down again near the end, but this is not one of those games you play for the eye candy, you just go at it for the experience it's trying to convey, much like a, say Silent Hill game.

I have learnt to really enjoy the combat, it's not as fast pacey as RE4 but the combat is just as good or even better, and they fixed the obvious issues RE4/5/6 had, like exploiting the gameplay by melleing after getting an enemy to the ground, if you wanna do that here, you have to use a match and light them on fire, and matches are valuable resources.

The plot is a joke, for such a good and nicely written story the characters are so empty and flat it seems like it's been written by a 5 year old and you're constantly face palming at the dialogs.

Still enjoyed the crap out of it, will probably do another run with all the shit I unlocked in a few months down the road.

I was waiting to have a PC for this, by that time hoping to find it on sale as well… I heard contrasting comments about the PC performance. Also wondering if I could get it for x360 without loosing much. It's just that I remember the Rage demo, how horrible it was.

Took turns playing with my gf and we finished it in 24h (we took our time but I thought it'd never end...)I've played on ps4 and I gotta say that even if it's not the prettiest game ever, there's definitely some really cool and very pretty scenes (and a few real nail-biting moments. Goddamn Laura...) Some of the environments and storytelling bits are really out there and the game often flirts with awesomeness but when all is said and done I couldn't help but feeling a little robbed by the story... Obviously it's not a game you want to play for its complex story but it wouldn't hurt with a little more of it. I'm not spoiling anything by saying that it was ludicrous and nonsensical at best and that most of the clues and leads they drop throughout the game are pretty much left unsolved and the questions unanswered. I usually like to have to ask myself questions after a game/movie and it generally feels good to have to deduce things by yourself but here, it really feels like they stitched things together and hoped it would work. Well regardless, I had a lot of fun playing through, it's a cool game and a great experience. HP said everything else!

Couldn't let this one go. After hours of looking and hardcore negotiation I've finally got my copy seconded handed. It's the special edition with DLC for 35 euros. Sorry devs!

But this weekend is gonna be good. I'm going to play it with my wife.
