Also, since I clearly have nothing better to do, I put together a playlist with everything mentioned so far, which I can put on shuffle and listen to in the background. This is to stop myself just posting what I like, nodding in appreciation at a few Chrono Trigger tracks, and then exiting the thread. Which I'm sure nobody else does.

It is missing a few tracks, mainly because soundtrack videos get killed frequently for copyright infringement and the links were dead already, but I also didn’t include 3-4 because they were ‘real songs’ or covers. What an asshole.

Love the Deus Ex HR soundtrack, bought it on Amazon even if I don't have played the game (yet).

This theme gets in my head, one of the best games in the generation:

Don't know about favorite, there are a few good ones.

Lately something that stood out to me is Vessel's soundtrack by Jon Hopkins - it's some of his stuff from various albums.

I love his stuff and it actually took me some time to figure out they were all his tunes in there as they are dynamically built up while playing (which in itself feels great in the game).

Huh, this is on a Coldplay track on Viva La Vida, I didn't realise they sampled it from this. Interesting. (PS Coldplay suck!)
