After soaking in the new game, I am beyond thrilled to be so in love with Halo again, more than I’ve been since Halo 2. Halo 4 is a masterstroke everyone can and should celebrate, and its two guaranteed sequels instantly make the next-generation Xbox a must-own system, with Halo 5 its most anticipated title. Halo has been rebuilt. It has been redefined. And it has been reinvigorated. The Xbox’s original king has returned to his rightful place on the throne.

    The Verdict

Cortana once asked Master Chief what would happen if he missed his target, and in the single greatest line of dialogue in Halo history, Chief replied with the coolest, calmest confidence, "I won’t." With Halo 4, he doesn't.

Same here. Maybe we could hook up on Live? Perhaps others might be interested in some coop fun as well?

Started playing it, Heroic difficulty, good shit. Visually way beyond any of Bungie's entries IMO, love those lens flares ~~

Picked it up at midnight, Beat the campaign in Heroic Coop in about 6 hours, felt kind of short but was enjoyable. Had a lot of fun with matchmaking until the servers started having issues...

My copy should be coming today. Since the campaign seems to be shorter than Borderlands 2, I will probably have to pop BL2 from my Xbox and drop this in, finish it, then back to BL2.

Oh and then there is this:

What kind of devil voodoo black magic did 343 work to get hi-res textures into an Xbox 360 game?

Nope, I know I heard or read that somewhere tho. Maybe I'll send a quick message to Paul to confirm this.
