    You believers and Source guys should come together and as theraphy, make an unofficial Half-Life 3 or less ambitous, Episode 3. There's enough leaked stuff to give you an idea on where to go. Hell, I would even throw in a separate forum and hosting, just to see where things might go :)

    Was thinking the same, that would be really cool. I would totally play an unofficial take on what happens to Freeman.

    It would probably end up like City 17: Episode One. That was the last mod for Half-Life 2 I really followed through development on moddb.

    yeah, Mapcore could easily remake hl2 if it were on Source again :)

    Probably more foreplay. The original Half-Life had much more of a prologue and also less vehicle fluff in the middle

    Crates, as in the original. Only now, you need to buy a 2,2 € key to see if there's any ammo or hp in it

    I'd bring back more of HL1's freaky Xen monsters to mix up the Combine stuff. Human(ish) enemies get boring after a while. Also some more epic environmental puzzles would be nice -- the physics puzzles were fun in HL2 but they never felt as important as HL1's puzzles.

    But the Xen creatures were good guys chased by the Combine :(

    I guess slavery could be a thing though.

    Vortigaunts were good guys, but headcrabs weren't! There's still plenty of scope for dangerous Xen creatures, not just due to continued slavery but basic survival, or some other completely outlandish motive.

    Maybe, could be that the headcrabs and their mother just take Gordon for Combine. I mean the only difference in appearance is that Gordon is orange :D
