I wonder who thought naming the main character BJ was a good idea

The same developer who thought "Take him to the kill room" was good dialogue for an opening level.

All this Wolfenstein talk made me dig up my copy and start over. My previous statements still stand, but I just wanted to see some of those awesome levels again. Yesterday I finished the farm mission. It's the one with the big underground cavern facility. Visually very impressive but the way tension is built up to that awesome climax is truly a piece of excellent game design.

The hospital level is great too. I can now clearly see a castle on the hilltop when I fight through the city. Am I going there later in the game? Because that would be awesome!

I'm actually having quite a bit of fun regardless of the game it's faults.

For those of you who worked on it:

I've just beaten the game. Here are my favorite maps.

    The Farm: Pure awesomeness.

Hospital: Excellent pacing, great design and a nice boss battle.

Cannery: Fun gameplay and well thought out!

    Zeppelin: Drop dead gorgeous!

Any of yours in my list?

Been working on this for the past 2 years now and it's finally been officialized!

No gameplay video yet but a small teaser:

Trailer, teaser, whatever you want to call it. If its for a game and there is no gameplay its a waste of time.

Pretty cool trailer, I hope it turns out well after a predecessor that I can't say drew me in. It's actually been a really long time now since I last played a WW2 game, and of course the sci-if slant makes things even more interesting.

Kind of funny to think that WW2 games are relatively rare now after their huge boom not that many years ago.

My big issue with the guns vs robot game is that I have yet to see a game pull off a decent amount of feedback for the shooter. I guess Mass Effect 2 did a pretty good job when you were shooting droids. If I only have a low caliber or slow firing rifle, I want to be able to at least knock them back a little bit. Or if its a larger robot, I want to be able to hit shoot its hand or weapon and have it do something. Nothing is more boring than emptying 30 SMG rounds into an unflinching robot until it just explodes after X amount of damage.

    You and I both, man!

At least we'll try to not fuck it up too much and build on your legacy
